The Credit Union is pleased to announce the installation of our new ATM at The University of Chicago Hospitals.  This ATM provides all of our members with SUR-CHARGE FREE access to their accounts when using any one of our CUUC ATM or Debit Cards. (Other cardholders are subject to a sur-charge.)

The ATM is located in the Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine (the DCAM), in the first floor lobby, just behind the security desk.  The DCAM is located at East 58th Street and Maryland Avenues.  The ATM became operational Thursday afternoon, February 2nd.

A Free ATM right here in Hyde Park -- just a short walk from where you work!  Now you can save $1.50, $2.00 or even more, every time you use your CUUC ATM Card at our ATM rather than another one.  Our free ATM is in addition to the hundreds of free ATMs in the Star sur-charge free and CO-OP networks that are also available to you as our member. 

If you do not yet have a CUUC ATM / Debit card, it is easy to apply for one. Just stop by our offices at 5801 S. Ellis Avenue.  The ATM / Debit Card is available to those who have (or open) a checking account.  It gets even better, because you can access both your savings and checking accounts at this free ATM.  So even if you just want the convenience of withdrawing from your savings account, "ATM is the way to go".

And since we also participate in the payroll direct deposit programs of both the University and Hospitals, a checking account with your credit union is more convenient than ever before.  Having a checking account here, combined with FREE ATM access on campus, means you can eliminate the drive to your previous financial institution, saving you time and money!

With our instant issue VISA card, you apply for the card and receive it on the spot.  No credit check, no delays! It can then be used at thousands of merchant locations wherever you see VISA, beginning the next business day.  This card is great for anyone who:

Ø      Does not want to wait for a card to be mailed & does not want to use a PIN

Ø      Has been denied for a VISA credit or debit card in the past. 

Here is how it works. 

Ø      Simply apply for the card at our office at 5801 S Ellis Avenue, Chicago.

Ø      Select an amount of your choice up to $500, payable from your savings or checking account (or with cash)

Ø      There is a $3 application fee.

Ø      We issue the card to you on the spot

Ø      Use it the next business day, and keep using it until the funds are exhausted.

Ø      No statements, No PINs to remember.

Ø      Everyone is approved!

This is not an ATM card & cannot be used to get cash.
