Up to $350,000

Our home equity loans have a low fixed rate, and the term can be for 3, 5, 7 or even 10 years, at a fixed amount payment tailored to fit your budget.  And as you know your interest may even be tax deductible.  Consult your tax advisor for details.

In addition to our regular home equity loans, the Credit Union At The University Of Chicago now offers HOME EQUITY PLUS.  You can borrow up to 100% of the equity in your home.  This is particularly attractive if you

>  Just purchased your home and need some money for sprucing up or for furnishings.

>  You plan a major remodeling that will increase the value of your home

>  Other useful purposes.

We offer terms of 3, 5, 7 and 10 years with great rates.  Click on the Current Rates tab to see today's attractive rate.  Since home equity loan interest is usually tax-deductible, your effective after-tax rate is even lower.  As always, check with your tax advisor for specifics on tax-savings.

HOME EQUITY LINES OF CREDIT

We now offer Home Equity Lines of Credit to those members who have at least 15% equity in their principal or secondary residence.  Your line can be issued for up to $350,000.  Use as little or as much as you want, when you want!  Once it is granted there is no need to re-apply, simply tap it as your needs arise.  Our rates are excellent: as low as 0.51% BELOW the prime rate, depending upon the size of your line of credit.  For today's low rate, click on the current rates tab at the left.
